Want to see how good verdelho can be in the Swan Valley, then tuck into this beauty. Named in honour of the Yukich’s grandfather, who was an early grower in the Swan. It is a fitting tribute as it captures all the flavour and punch that has become synonymous with this variety. Keen crisp acid lifts the finish.

WINEMAKING NOTES
Picked from our 1958 plantings, this wine is made from 100% free run grape juice, 14 day cool ferment using VL2 yeast filtered and bottled in July 2022.
TASTING NOTES
Displaying lifted notes of honeysuckle, ripe citrus, fresh figs and quince paste. The palate is a wonderfully explosive matrix of waxy tropical fruit, melon, nashi pear and lemon butter that leads into a persistently alluring finish.
